Poster Neutrinoless double beta decay Poster

Description

The MAJORANA DEMONSTRATOR experiment is searching for neutrinoless double-beta decay using p-type point contact (PPC) high purity germanium detectors enriched in Ge-76. The experiment has been operating under low-background active and passive shielding since 2015 and has concluded its data-taking with enriched detectors in March 2021 after accumulating a total exposure of approximately 65 kg-yr. The PPC detector geometry exhibits an excellent energy resolution and enables pulse-shape analysis techniques to reject multi-site and surface backgrounds. In preparation for setting a limit in the neutrinoless double-beta decay half-life in Ge-76, many improvements in the analysis techniques have been made for this final analysis in response to our further exploration of the experiment's capabilities. We will present the latest results from the neutrinoless double-beta decay search with the MAJORANA DEMONSTRATOR with a focus on its analysis techniques and performance.
