Description
The parameterization of the assumed unitary active neutrino mixing matrix is not unique. The CP-violation phase, which neutrino oscillation experiments are primarily interested in, does not accurately reflect the amount of CP violation in the lepton sector. Jarlskog invariance should be given more attention because it is independent of matrix parameterization. With a larger collection of neutrino oscillation data, testing the unitary of the active mixing matrix will be much more interesting. We will talk about a new parameterization for measuring CP violation and testing the unitary of the active neutrino mixing matrix. The sensitivity of these measurements will be presented using two incoming neutrino experiments, Hyper-Kamiokande and DUNE.
