Description
Reconstruction of the neutrino energy distribution is based on the analysis of quasielastic scattering, while single pion production (SPP) is one of its main background processes. Because of that, the SPP is an important process in neutrino oscillation experiments. Polarization observables are sensitive to the details of the SPP models. In particular, the normal polarization asymmetry is dominated by the interference between resonant and nonresonant contributions. We have analyzed the dependence of SPP polarisation observables on the axial mass, C_5^A(0), and relative phase between resonant and nonresonant background for two different SPP models: Fogli-Nardulli and Hernandez-Nieves-Valverde. We considered a polarized target, the polarization of charged lepton and recoil nucleon. The poster is based on the results published in Phys. Rev. D 104, 033005
