Description
An ongoing analysis in IceCube regarding high-energy sterile neutrino oscillations is discussed. Matter-enhanced resonances for eV-scale sterile neutrinos with non-zero $\theta_{24}$ and $\theta_{34}$ lead to a strong enhancement of cascade-like event signatures through $\nu_{\mu}\to\nu_{s}\to\nu_{\tau}$ oscillations and allow for a direct $\nu_{\tau}$ appearance probe. Similar channels also allow IceCube to study the signal-like features observed by gallium-based neutrino experiments. Such ongoing analyses are presented here with IceCube's expected sensitivity to sterile neutrino oscillations parameters through cascade appearance.
