Description
A third generation (G3) two-phase liquid xenon TPC will not only be able to explore new regions of parameter space of dark matter, but also competitively search for some neutrino processes of interest, such as neutrinoless double beta decay (0𝜈2β).
In this work we will show that a G3 detector with up to one hundred tonnes of natural xenon mass, built using materials with realistically low levels of radioactivity and an already demonstrated energy resolution of 1%, can reach a sensitivity to the half-life of 0𝜈2β decay in Xe-136 of the order of 10^28 years.
