Description
Located at the ILL research facility (Grenoble, France), STEREO detects antineutrinos produced by fissions within the ILL’s reactor core. Because the reactor fuel is highly enriched in 235U, the antineutrino flux almost entirely originates from this one isotope, allowing a complete study of the 235U-induced antineutrino spectrum.
In the poster we will present an accurate measurement of the 235U antineutrino spectrum with the final data set from STEREO. Unfolding methods have been developed in order to infer a spectrum expressed in antineutrino energy with negligible bias. We will then discuss the anomalies of reactor antineutrino spectrum, namely the deficit with respect to the Huber reference model and the 5-MeV bump. A global fit including data from other experiments will also be presented to give further insight on these anomalies.
